Neverending MBRO memory thread

Go ahead and tell. Between my wife and son, we have enough bad on court behavior stories to share...

Example 1 - My son was the youngest kid ever to get a red card at Mike Rose Soccer Complex

You live in Memphis?

I won’t tag him but Rousabout was on that basketball team and saw the whole thing.
We were playing at Redbank Baptist vs redbank baptist. Sr year. The ref on the court had a brother on the other team. I got a rebound and as I brought it in I was punched in the face. A foul was called on me. My Forth BS call. At that point I’d had enough and started running my mouth. I was told that I was out of the game and to leave the building. I kicked a chair in the refs direction talking the whole time. He ordered me to leave again. At that point I stopped and said “remove me”. my coach said “you haven’t been treated fairly but please go”. I respect him so I left but not before tell the ref it wasn’t over and to keep an eye out for me.
and that’s how I was kicked out of the league

I could be a touch aggressive as a young man.

She’s on a boys basketball team? Boom shocka locka!

It's a coed team but the league is 90% boys. The independent teams playing in the league are all boys. She is an absolute pest defensively (shes taller and quicker than most of the boys).

To answer other question, I'm not far from you. Out there off Exit 20 in Shelby County.

We havent had any family members kicked out of league yet but both wife and son have caused brawls.

Wife - In HS, she played basketball in Dallas area (as an aside, her final game was against Tamika Catchings and Duncanville in state playoffs.) Well, early in the season, the wife's suburban HS team went to play an inner city school. The other team had a player that busted another players lip and broke the nose of wife's teammate with a cheap shot elbow. My wife told that other girl look out after the broken nose. About 4 mins later, that girl went up for a layup and wife decked her with a super hard foul. Wife stood over her and told her "I told you to look out, b--ch". That team essentially jumped my wife and the police at the game separated them. The police pulled everyone apart and their fans were throwing stuff at wife, threatening to go on court, etc. As wife was being escorted off the court, she went to midcourt, raised her arms in celebration (ala TO on the star) and pointed at the scoreboard.

Son - His club soccer team was playing their rival and game was chippy (both teams had a player get red carded earlier). About 10 mins to go in the game, sons teammate launched one into box. My son and their goalie ran into each other and son kicked ball into net. The goalie got up and threw punch at son, son shoulder blocked him down, and 5 players on other team jumped son. Eventually sons teammates joined in (Crazy thing, neither son nor goalie got red carded).

Should be no coincidence, son was born same week as the Malice in the Palace

My wife woke me up at 5 this morning. She woke up, and thought it was daylight, and that I had overslept.
