Neverending MBRO memory thread

You said she was the most interesting person on here and I agree, but I came to the conclusion awhile ago that Donna has the most random collection of not terribly useful tidbits of data on this forum.

Always challenged by remembering where I left my keys if I don’t clip them to the carabiner on my purse.

Where is miss fiesty tonight?!
Miss Feisty spent the day with the remodel guys doing (please God) the last bits of the remodel: replacing the code-legal-but-pathetic vent hood that I bought with the original purchase that works. Then getting my mom reoriented to her assisted living apartment, which she couldn’t quite remember after 3 1/2 days in the hospital.

The vent chimney picked up a crease in the seven months that it waited to be installed, but it works like a champ, so I’m hoping my brain will learn to tune it out, or call it “character”.

I meant to post this when you burned your hand, but something that helps is to make the situation different. Like hang a towel on the stove, or put a wooden spoon hanging from the oven door. It'll make you pause long enough to think about the hot handle. Takes the routine out of it.
