Neverending MBRO memory thread

You know what hornyheads are? Best I've had luck on. Creeks are full of them aroubd here.

Yeah, I sometimes catch them when I'm fly fishing for smallmouth.

For catfish bait on the lake, I usually try to catch a JoeDawg bluegill on a fly rod, the smaller the better. If I don't catch one small enough to use as live bait, I just cut up a slightly larger one. I find that catfish love a bluegill head.

I've caught some nice ones on bluegill. I can't wait to go, been a while since I've cat fished.

Which brings me to the Hickory Lake question - Free-lining small tilapia (invasive species) for large flatheads at night?

I've free-lined bluegill to the same purpose. Big flathead prey upon bluegill. Could it be done on Hickory Lake using the smaller tilapia?

Wife was outside talking with the neighbors, older folks. Mentioned she'd been fighting the dryer, and he wanted to look at it. He took it apart, and found a bad wire and replaced it.

Which I would've thought it was the coil, but it wasn't. He replaced a piece of wire, but they didn't have it put together right. I took it back apart and fixed it. It's purring like a kitten now!
