Neverending MBRO memory thread

Dang, I hadn't even thought about it, but vbs will likely not happen because of this mess😥
It hasn't been announced yet, but I'm sure it will be cancelled. There is a lot of work that goes into VBS. Maybe we'll be able to do some sort of abreviated version or something. Like a weekend, or something. I don't know. Shoot.

You started young! I was thinking that you were in your fifties. I have lost track of this stuff.

No, I did not start young. My wife did. She's younger than me, but I am no generation-jumping cradle robber. I remember my fifties (I still have a keen mind). Great decade for me. Past, now. I remain virile and capable and active. I do many things I first did in my teens and twenties - landscape, garden, tour on bicycles, skydive, and occasionally trail ride on horseback. My knees won't let me hike mountain trails anymore. I miss it.

reluctantly had to go to Walmart to pic up a prescription today and all those pre cautions that were imposed last Sat were non exsistant today - no line waiting to get in - no lacky wiping carts - no limit of customers in the store - no 6 feet distancing -- and the place was actually stocked well with everything

We are the same. Dis gonna be tuff. 🤞
I’ve been impressed at their picks. Good produce, doesn’t look scruffy or about to go out-of-date. As for meat and poultry, I’m just happy when they’ve got anything in at all. It’s hard to go wrong with packaged-up bits o’ chicken.

Scored another fryer today! Woot!

But I finally had the sense to check out the WNC Farmers Market for something other than fresh-cut Christmas trees, and I now know I’ll be ok for peppers and onions, tomatoes and potatoes, squash and zucchini. And I can get lettuce, spinach, and blueberries at stores when needed.

So basically what you're saying is, you're good to make them sammiches now?😂😂

Neighbor is having shingles put on. The roofer has about 7-8 Mexican guys all over the house top. I've been watching for entertainment.
