I don't think he does. He's looking for goose stepping Nazi's that can't think for themselves.

He's right about one thing,I'm a lot closer to being a coach,than being a fan. :)

I sure hope your calling the plays and running the offense next week.:clapping:
Yet another proves my point. Priceless. :worship:

Oh, I'm having a large time. I was just reading for a long while but got irritated with all the coaches and players on here. I just got back from watching the game at a bar without the benefit of sound. I was also keeping tabs on the GA game, the AL game, and the FL game. TN didn't look any better or worse than any of the rest of them. But only if the coaches on here were calling our game or the quarterbacks on here were running the team and throwing the passes.

You got to voice your opinion/thoughts and that's why this place is great. I hear ya about being irritated with some of the posts...sometimes it's better to just ignore them. Anyways do what you want and if someone hasn't said it already, welcome to the board and...

GO VOLS !!!

A win IS a win and I'll ALWAYS take a win

But......

If we struggle with Ohio University, what in the world will we do in Tuscaloosa?

Sounds logical, but every week, we realize more and more that college football is no longer logical.

I'll take the win in this age of parity.

kind of like listening to a new radio show, you don't get a true flavor for several weeks or months...

however, if you're just beginning to listen to Hymens over on the sports animal, then 5 minutes should be all you need to turn the dial.... :good!: :snoring: :banghead2: :mf_surrender:

welcome GnR:td:

I'm glad we won, but the way we played wasn't great and I realize that if we play like that against an SEC team we'll get stomped.

I do see through orange-colored glasses, that's what fans do. I do not have low expectations for this team, I do however have realistic expectations. I think we can win on any given Saturday. I don't think a pat on the butt will solve all the problems. But, what I do realize is that that these fans aren't going to solve our problems. My blood will always run Tennessee Orange even if that means wearing orange-colored glasses.

what are these realistic expectations of yours? just curious. how many wins?

There's nothing wrong with being upset. Crompton played like crap and everyone that was there tonight could see that. They can interpret that however they like but in my opinion, what I saw were very poor decisions. Also, in my opinion if you disagree with my above opinion then you really don't understand football. :)

I'm not excited about our depth. Qb play goes without saying. But look at LSU and Mississippi who are top ten teams and we're not the only team in the conference with problems. I'll take the win because I'm in it for the long haul and we're on the right track. Last year's staff would have lost today

Maybe you should call Houston Nutt and remind him of that.

With that being said, I agree with you. We are on the right track. Too many people here are at DEFCON 1 because we "only" won by 11.

Oh really we have ourselves a football God. I saw a Crompton that made some good throws and some bad, but I also saw a lot of receivers not pushing the defenders off with crisp cuts or correct routes, I also saw quite of few dropped passes. I don't think he played excellent, but he definitely doesn't deserve the damn bashing you all are putting on him. I hope they do put in Stephens, just so afterwards you all can tell me how your foot tastes. But I guess I just don't understand football.
