Never forget

I was on vacation in Panama City Beach. By the next day, most of the balconies overlooking the beach in my condo tower had flags hanging from them.... It was a moving sight.

A sad day, indeed! I was a junior in high school and sitting in drama class when I found out!

I was a junior in high school sitting in my first period psychology class when my teacher, a Lt. in the air force reserve, found out about it.

same here, but in US History...my teacher informed us of it, but then went into teaching his lesson that day so I didn't think much of it until I was home that day.

Great thread. Just for the record, I moved it in here so it would not get bumped down by football talk.

I was doing some pre market trading and I was on the phone with one of my good buddys that worked at Morgan Stanley in the 2nd tower in NY. and he told me what happened before the media even started to report it. I let him go and I was already watching CNBC and I watch the 2nd plane fly into the South Tower (2nd Tower) where my buddy works at and that was a feeling I NEVER want to feel again. He made it out ok, but there were many that lost friends and family that day. My heart still goes out to those folks and to the familys to this day. Never Forget 9-11-01.

I was in a classroom in the UT law building. Went to a classmates apartment up in Fort Sanders and watched everything. They played some of the audio from NY police, fire, etc today on the radio. It gave me chills and made my eyes water a little. I hate that anyone feels the desire to commit such an atrocity.
