Never Check Neyland Again

I agree. I am absolutely sick. 17 points down the toilet trying to nurse a lead for 30 minutes. Felt like I was back in 2008.

I am use to this pain. So much anger the rest of Saturday, Sunday is off and on anger, and by Monday, I am ready to move on.

Why? It had nothing to do with the loss and probably got the crowd even more pumped. Stop thinking things like this effect the outcome of the game.

Checkering Neyland just sets us up for a even bigger letdown. If it's ever done again it better be after we have started winning against ranked opponents once again.

I was about to say. The two times we did it we suffered two of the most heartbreaking losses in recent memory. It's like watching a game in slow motion or sometbing.

It's even worse than the LSU too many men on the field game because both this game and Florida last year we should have won by at least two scores.

While I agree with your point, the problem is that this whole thing has become gimmicky - including the grey uniforms. And, for the record, I love the checkerneyland movement. It's just proven to be something that doesn't return results.

Didn't we lead the whole game until like the last the last 40 some odd seconds?

VolNation edict: punch the hell out of anyone even suggesting to "checker Neyland" again. Wanna get my attention? Go win some damn football games instead of carrying on with a stupid dog and pony show.

Get over it folks. Checker Neyland didn't cause the loss. It's not to respect the other team. It's all about fan enjoyment. I wasn't there last year, but was today, and it was awesome. To see it like that,is just awesome. If we never do it again that's just a shame. The crowd was loud most of the time, but not like they need to be, there was a time when OK was at the line changing the play and it got louder, should have already been as loud. Lots of improve my needed, still a VOL fan. GO VOLS! WIN OUT!
