Either you are to young to remember correctly or you think winning at any costs for a short time is worth the trouble, whichever it shouldn't happen.

1) Orange Pride, got UT NCAA probation.

2) Recruiting, Brought in players with a questionable character, something UT doesn't need. Have you forgotten the armed robbery.

3) his one year here, he didn't win against UF or BAMA, and the bowl game his team was beaten.

4) It does not matter what you think the reasons for his failure at USC may or may not of been. He was still a failure and was fired.

I agree with you on the violations, but remember that was his first year as a college head coach and the team has much better talent this time than it did when he got here.

I can understand hesitation, but at this juncture he is close to the best coach that we can get and he has the potential for a huge up side.

I'd welcome Kiffin back without a single ounce of hesitation. And I felt that way long before this past weekend.

28-15 with usc while on probation and won conference championship on only 3 full years... how is that a failure

I’m in on Kiffin. I think he’d do awesome as well as reignite the fan base.

And that’s exactly why UT probably won’t hire him. I seriously have no confidence in the decision makers.

The thing is, I believe Kiffin would absolutely come back to TN. The problem is that TN won't even give him a call.

I gotta agree. Kiffin burned the bridge for good.

I like a Scott Frost and Tee Martin. They would make a great coaching team. Both young and good recruiters with ties to two large states for more talent.

1)Those little tidbits were nothing. And had we been a darling program, would've been completely overlooked. You'd leave USC after a season for UT...grow up.

2)Still down numbers from the Fulmer Cup years. Happens at every program. We still have an ongoing rape case stemming from Dooley/Butch years.

3)Should've beaten Bama, but didn't. Still looked like AN ACTUAL WELL COACHED FOOTBALL TEAM all year despite having walk ons on the O-line. Completely turned Crompton around. We had swagger, and we had fun.

4) 28-15 at USC under HEAVY sanctions. 55 scholarship players I think? Yeah, he was a total failure.

I'm not very young, and I much prefer his one year to any, save 5 games last year, since 2010.

He never won the Pac 12... and he was fired because of his mediocrity at a school that actually won the Pac 12 seven times in the immediate decade prior to his arrival.
