Finally got to watch the last season of Rectify. It was about as good as it could have been, with a pretty amazing final episode.
Start to finish it's one of the best shows ever that no one watched. I honestly think this is one of those shows where the genius will be appreciated years later.
Been watching Bill Nye Saves the World.
Most of the topics aren't exactly ground breaking but it's entertaining.
The GMO episode was cracking me up when they went to a CA Farmers Market and asked people what their concerns were. Then the vaccine episode had a woman with twins who changed her views on antivacs after her kids got rotovirus then immediately followed by measles (both preventable with vaccines).
The whole thing felt forced and awkward, but all in the wrong way. What the hell was with the 5 min skit that involved the Indian "comedian" roasting "white people"? Not to mention the other atrocities he chose for subjects, like the gender episode. The show was all talk and no substance. The guest panels were laughable and the pacing felt amateur. Billy Nye the Sell Out Guy, oh how the mighty have fallen. 3/10Been watching Bill Nye Saves the World.

Don't forget the "My Sex Junk" song. That was pure cringe. The whole thing felt forced and awkward, but all in the wrong way.
