Netflix

I'm digging, hell on wheels, right now good characters pretty good acting interesting time in the history of our country for a tv series setting

First two seasons are epic. Stays pretty good the rest of the way.

Give Shameless an actual try. I started watching it last year and got about 3 episodes in and I couldn't really get into it. I started back watching it a couple of weeks ago and now I can't get enough of it. It's a hilarious show and at the same time makes you feel a little better about yourself lol. So many good characters on that show.

Soooo I took your advice and I'm now on season 6! The Gallagher's are weirdest, piss poor, hilarious family. You're right about all the good characters. Some of these characters seem like people I know in real life 🤷*♀️🙅😅

Told ya! I'd like to know V in real life 😍😍😍.

Rectify is one of the most amazing shows I've ever watched. It's some heavy **** tho, so don't expect it to entertain you.

It's the best show no one watched. It's a shame it never got the audience or recognition it should have. If it had even been on AMC instead of Sundance, it would have gotten some Emmy and Golden Globe noms. Aden Young especially should have gotten nominations for his role as Daniel.

Why does Netflix not have WESTERNS and HISTORICAL FICTION genres? ... Well, they call them 'Categories'. But dang!

I would enjoy both. However, if you're very good about rating everything you watch you'll start getting more recommended.

Yeah, for a long time I didn't know they had 30 for 30 on there. Once I saw one and rated it highly, it showed me another, I rated it highly, and then all of a sudden I had 40 suggestions.

If you seek out westerns and rate them high, they will put their westerns in front of your face.

BTW, westerns have to be the most disappointing genre of my lifetime. I would say there are only a handful* of good westerns since 1982.

*Tombstone, Django Unchained, True Grit, any others? 3:10 to Yuma? Does There Will Be Blood count? The Revenant?

Unforgiven, magnificent 7.

I like the simplicity of the films from the golden era of Westerns, they're really just like Louis Lamour novels, not particularly deep or thought provoking but a relatively enjoyable waste of time.
