Netflix

Avengers: Age of Ultron will be streaming Sept. 8. That's crazy quick to be streaming for a major release.

I saw that this morning and thought it had to ba a mistake. I hope not, me and the kids are excited.

Finally finished Wet Hot AS and all things considered, I would say it was just decent, but seriously I was crying in the fight scene between John Hamm and Christopher Meloni. Some of the funniest shiz I've ever seen.

So apparently the reports that it would be on Netflix Sept. 8 were wrong. It's Sept. 8th, and it's not on Netflix. It is available today to buy on services like Vudu, so I'm guessing there was some bad information sent out.

Yep, just read that the original release said AoU would be available for VOD services today, and I'm guessing people assumed it meant Netflix too.

So, no Avengers on Netflix. Also it was said Thor 2 would be on Neflix this month, and that no longer is true either. Bummer.

Been watching Star Wars: Clone Wars with my boys (OK it's mostly me watching it but they like it too). I've been impressed by the series. Story wise it's better than the Prequels. The animation is good for a TV series but does look a little video gamey at times. Overall though I am hooked.

On a side note: Not on Netflix (yet) but Star Wars: Rebels is good too. In fact the early S2 premier episode with Vader and Ahsoka is what made me want to go back and watch Clone Wars.

That sucks.

Just finished Peaky Blinders. Wife and I loved it.

Looking online I couldn't find anything conclusive, but season 3 looks to start filming this fall so we probably still have a ways to go before the release :(

Can't wait!

I was considering starting that.

Just finished Narcos. Great show but the season finale is disappointing. I'd guess they covered 90% of the Pablo Escobar story and didn't think they'd stretch it to two seasons. Maybe they're going to incorporate other drug kingpins into next season as they nurse the Pablo story along.

I loved Narcos. I believe I read where the Escobar story will finish in the second season and the another kingpins story will be told if they continue.

Peaky Blinders was my favorite show until Narcos. Acting , story, music is all superb.

Watch it, it was great. Plus there's only 12 episodes so you can blow right through it.

Cillian Murphy is excellent.

My girlfriend and I started watching the Office in December and binge season 1 to season 7 from then to last night. When Michael Scott left I got curious and googled to see if he'd be back. Once I found out that he never returned for the final 2 seasons we skipped season's 8 and 9 because that show is not the same without him. We watched the final episode and the ending just didn't feel right.

I've never felt more connected to a group of characters than I did with the cast of The Office. Michael Scott (Steve Carell) is my favorite character out of any show I've ever watched. I don't know what to do with my life now that The Office is over for me...lol

I've never watched it.

A few 30 for 30s I really liked: Four Falls of Buffalo and I Hate Christian Laettner. Both of these are set during when I first started getting into both sports. Elway to Marino reminded me of the draft Aaron Rodgers was in, and was really cool seeing everything that went into it.

The documentary Cartel Land was pretty good

And finally watched Hurt Locker. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
