Its pretty good. Cousins is a genuine good guy but it become the Mahomes show pretty quickly. Not that thats bad, he is one of the greatest.

Finished it today. What a well-produced show. I wonder how much Peyton had to do with the production of this thing. It really is outstanding. You've got to wonder how much Mariota even likes football, after watching this.

on episode 4

Kirk Cousins is much more likeable than I expected (had no real view on him prior)
Patrick Mahommes is more annoying than I expected (have been a fan since TT days)
Marcus Mariota also likeable but seems a bit like a tragic character

some interesting insights into what has to be the most all around demanding job in sports

Apparently they're having a hell of a time finding subjects for season 2. Already been turned down by Geno Smith, Stafford, Dak, Fields, Tua, and Hurts.

Peyton was on Pat McAfee's show a few weeks ago saying he hopes QBs are willing to do it. Since Mahomes won the Super Bowl they can't say it's a distraction.

Pat asked Peyton if he would have been on the show during his career, he said in his early years he doesn't think he would but later in his career he would have.

Hopefully they can find some players that will participate.

It’s not a very good show. They should spend more time on the daily life and the week leading up to the game instead of spending so much time on the games.

Agreed, I‘d like to see more about what it‘s like to be an NFL QB. It was episode 3? maybe where they briefly went into game recovery. I was really interested in that and they spent what, 5-10 minutes on it at most.

entertaining - became a Kirk Cousins fan.

him stopping his car to sign some stuff for fans right after the playoff loss was a good example of his character

I've always wondered how Mahomes got locked down by such an annoying lady who isn't especially cute. HS sweethearts and she was older and seemed unattainable before he became a standout, and she has had a hold on him ever since. Now I get it. Maybe he's happy forever and I have a bad read, but I can't imagine it lasting. At least she's an athlete. Make some kids and move on. She's so blah. When she said "FRICK!" I almost submitted divorce papers for him.

I'm in. Really enjoying it so far. It's easy to forget that these guys are, deep down, just normal dudes that are extremely gifted and well paid.

Me either, the show didn't make me like/dislike either of them any more or less. She's IMO a typical 20 something and Patrick is an immense talent that's enjoying life.

The show did make me a fan of Cousins.

She's not doing anything wrong in the doc, it's just the delivery of it all. She's shrill and she just irks me (and others). I hesitated in saying anything bc there are way too many people voicing this in public spaces (which I do not count VN, because nobody close to her will ever read it here).

This is where she lost me, long before the show.
