I live in constant fear. 16 years in S FL before sunscreen was a thing.

Been there, done that. Twice. What kind of procedure? I had one that left a dime size spot I had to doctor for a while. The most recent was an incision on my shoulder, nine stitches. That one was a total pain in the @$$. Just because of where it was.

It’s I think it’s a Mohs. Not too worried about it, but it’s close to my eye. Oh course, me being me, I let it go for too long and the roots are longer than they thought, so, I’ll be there all day to make sure it’s all gone.

Physically, she's pretty strong, walking a lot, but has zero safety awareness.
On her cognitive assessment on Thursday, she scored 0 out of a possible 15, with 15 being best and 0 being worst.
She has about 12-15 words she is using, but it's very difficult to interpret what she's saying.
The speech therapist says she refuses to try to eat, means no swallow test, so she's still on the feeding tube (has been since 3/11). So she's still NPO, except for crushed ice.
Today's visit was good. I think her facial expressions were more like her old self.
Cancer can EABOD and swaller.

On the way home, I stopped in @volfanbill 's old neck of the woods for some Chinese and got home in time to watch the baseball game.

As I'm typing this, Curley and Moore went yard.

That's what I had done. It's really innovative in that they cut and test right on site and don't send you home just to come back.

All for being a teenager that moved to Jamaica from Mississippi and thinking I’d be okay without sunscreen, even if I’m a darker skin person , It doesn’t matter, idiot to myself. 🤦‍♀️. I’ve had one burned off at the doctor’s office years ago and I probably have to go through this again, idiot myself.

I am very thankful this morning.
I have a good friend who is like me in that he’s older and trying to stay in shape. We work together to motivate each other. He lives 6 houses up the street from me. I awoke at 3 in the morning to fire trucks. I went outside and it was Jeremy’s house in flames. You want to know how you feel about someone…..wake up and find that…you’ll know your true feelings real quick. I ran towards the house and called him. Straight to voicemail. I called his wife. Straight to voicemail. As I got close to the house my phone rang, and it was Laurie.
I thank the G-d of my fathers they were not home. They had decided to go camping last minute and the whole family was safe. So remember them in your prayers but mostly thank G-d for that mercy on my behalf please.
