I feel for you and your family, Slice. My grandfather died in 1981 from dementia. He didnt know anyone 98% of the time and his moments of clarity were for minutes at a time and were weeks apart. This all started 7/3/2020 at 5:30. That’s when mom said the first minor thing started. He’s currently in the hospital as they do every imaginable test on him. He still knows who I am but blames me for all this.
That’s ok as I have 51 years of knowing who he truly is.
Thanks to everyone
The scariest thing that happened was while he was hospitalized in the VA hospital in Belton, Tx. He escaped one evening and wasnt found until about 7 am the next morning. My Uncle found him walking in the median of an interstate. He was headed home to DeQueen, Arkansas.
Prayers, brother.
