Needing prayers.

Just found out my dad is having a heart attack and is being airlifted. Could use some prayers for him. Trying to get info from two states away is a challenge.

It’s possible I had a “cardiac event” Sunday. Did not require a hospital visit. However the cardiologist……who laughed at me for asking……has banned me from Hot Yoga and running till we can do a CTA to rule some stuff out. That will be in a couple weeks. I don’t feel like this is a major issue but you never know.

Don’t encourage him on the “old” thing. He’s experiencing something that isn’t necessarily age related. He’s in his prime 50s and should be able to cope well with whatever is his forthcoming diagnosis.

Update on my Dad: About 15 minutes ago,me and my sister just got to see my Dad right as they were taking him back for surgery. It should take them from 4 to 5 hours for surgery. I'm just sitting here with family in the waiting room. I'll update it when he gets out of surgery. A bit nervous and quiet with a lot on my mind, but leaving it to God.

I feel like the interview went well. Had 3 bosses asking a bunch of questions, I think they liked my answers, we'll see. Idk when I will hear who gets it, but I appreciate the prayers.

Hello,I have a concerning prayer request. It's for my Dad. He's 68 and had really bad indigestion the last few days. Well,my stepmother urged him to go to the VA thinking it was something else. Thank God she did. Come to find out that he had a heart attack yesterday, but not the severity of it. This morning, my family found out from my stepmother that he has 4 to 5 blockages and has to have open heart surgery tommmorow.

It was a shock in the first place to hear that he had a heart attack because my Dad took care of himself being in the military and exercising a lot even as he got older. He has to have knee surgery in May so he's slowed down a bit.

I'm obviously really worried and cried a bit. I hate to see someone I care about in that kind of shape.
