Needing prayers.

All my Prayer Warriors please pray for my Stepmother Betty, she fell out of bed a little while back and broke her left leg and right ankle and she is back in the hospital with some sort of infection, Dad has been in the emergency room with her since around 2 today and they are waiting for a room and all prayers are so appreciated for both of them, Dad has been at medical facilities with her for 7 months and doesn't always eat and drink like he should because he will not leave her side.

An update on Betty, she is now in a regular hospital room which is good but not out of the woods yet, she has a blood infection and staff infection and is still sleeping a lot and we sure appreciate all of you prayers, and thank you so much all my Prayer Warriors.
Just wondering is the hospital giving your dad food ? My Son in Law got breakfast lunch and dinner in my grandsons room whenever he had the seizures

They did bring my Dad lunch while Betty was in the hospital and at the nursing home also and thank the Lord that Betty was released from the hospital today and I am so thankful you your prayers and everyone's prayers in this thread. They just brought Betty back to the nursing home this evening.

Thank you everyone for all the prayers for Betty, she was released from the hospital today and brought back to the nursing home thank the Lord.

Betty is not out of the woods and Dad is not either, Betty has a staff infection and a blood infection and Dad is completely and totally exhausted after being at medical facilities for 7 months, it's just not good.

Betty is back at the nursing home now which is an answered prayer, she is not back to where she was before this last hospital stay but I an hoping and praying that she can get back to where she was before the last hospital stay, and thank you to all of the Prayer Warriors here on VolNation....you're the best 🙂🧡🙏

How’s it going?
Thank you for asking, friend.

Right now all is well. My son was moved from Trauma ICU to the step-down progressive care unit. He has been battling some typical sorts of infections, pneumonia, c-diff, etc, that are not uncommon for his situation. The hospital is currently working on rehab hospitals as he will have a long road to recovery ahead of him.
It is hard to imagine that one month ago we were talking survival and now we are talking quality of life. God has been good to us.

Got to spend the weekend with the other bits, taking them to the Lost Sea in Sweetwater, to a Knoxville Smokies game (Bush's Beans section for the win - tickets and dinner/sodas - yes please!) and to see the Mission Impossible movie. Almost felt like summer with the family. They have headed home to NC while I stay with the boy here (he was airlifted from NC to UT trauma after the accident in the mountains.)

Appreciate you checking in,

-RW-

great news, Ritz. Please continue to update.

Please pray for my dad. He is 89. At 3:30 AM on Monday, mom had to call the ambulance because he could not stand up to go to the bathroom, was burning up, and was a bit more confused than usual. He was admitted to the hospital yesterday with pneumonia (very grateful all the tests on his head showed no swelling/tumors). They also put in a catheter. He doesn't really understand that he is not at home and mom had to have him restrained (physically and with meds to help him calm down). Today, it took about an hour for two people to change his disposable underwear and change out his bed. He is fighting everything and everybody. They predict he'll be in the hospital for 4-5 days if he gets bedrest.
