Prayers up for a successful surgery and a quick recovery!
Prayers up for a successful surgery and a quick recovery!
Hey boss look at it this way, with blockages that significant, you have avoided heart muscle damage and will be near 100% when you heal up. Prayers boss and follow Dr's orders!!!Have had some chest pains recently and was sent to get a heart cath after stress test and all. Got some really bad news of significant blockage of 80%, 80%, and 70%, so they are transferring me over to surgery for an open heart bypass. Scared to death at this, but also scared of what could have happened if I didn’t get it checked. Would appreciate those prayers as I need them. Love you all
In a rare moment of seriousness for me....I was arrested over threatening to kill the Dr. it was thrown out as I wasn’t a threat after the delivery. I know G-d smiled on us and it could have gone a different direction but that was mine and Reds choice to make and live with.
Will continue to pray for you and your loved ones.

Our first conception would have been twins, but they did not make it to term. They also would have killed my wife had she not had it checked out as soon as she did. There was no chance to even try and save them unfortunately as it happened VERY early. I know she would have chosen them over herself at all cost. Really broke us up pretty hard, and without going into detail we wondered if we would be able to conceive later. Needless to say I was kinda scared when she had my son something would happen again to one of them. I was never more Thankful when he and she came out of it fine. God is good. Till the day I die I'll always wonder what those twins would have been like though, I wish we could have also had them to raise and love. I do wonder if in the next life I would know them and they would know me kinda like the song. It happened before we'd even let family know she was pregnant and for whatever reason kept it private....which in retrosepct was a bad call, we were both hurting and no one knew why.
Yeah it happens a lot more common then most people realize, and for whatever reason many couples keep it to themselves, especially if it is early in pregnancy. Gods will be done though. there are things we can control, and things we can't.Sorry to hear that man. Same thing happened to us in 2012...
Much like Slice, I got escorted from the hospital by police....

Joe, do you know anything about the timeline? His post reads kind of like he was immediately fully admitted (or transferred) over to cardiac surgery for a bypass. Has he posted again? In case you missed it in the FF
He has posted to thank everyone, but I haven't seen a time for anything. I may have missed somethingJoe, do you know anything about the timeline? His post reads kind of like he was immediately fully admitted (or transferred) over to cardiac surgery for a bypass. Has he posted again?
(Gordon's morphine-driven posts during his heart attack were scary but entertaining)
Praying for her!Hey y'all, my mom (96) suddenly became very weak and barely conscious on Monday at her assisted living facility. They did a bit of a coin-flip and are treating her presumptively for pneumonia. (The anitibiotics they're giving her would cover other bacterial infections as well.) She's starting to get a bit better, but it's pretty scary. T&P would be gratefully welcomed.
