Prayers for you, OP. I may not be the most adored poster on VN, but if I'm in a crisis, one of the first places I'm coming to for prayer is VN....wouldn't think twice

I found out Monday 1/16/12 that I have cancer on my pancreas. Do not know many details yet but would love for as many who will to pray for me and my family. God is good, All The Time. My hope and trust was, is and forever will be in my Lord and saviour JESUS CHRIST. I will be deliverd from this either by healing or heaven either way is GOOD For ME! Romans 8:28 praise the LORD. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

The outpouring of responses, when this was originally posted by Bayou-Vol, was outstanding. I want to encourage you all to continue to remember him, not just the other day, but everyday. I do not know his name, but it, well, it just broke my heart when I read it. I keep thinking about it. He sounds very well connected spiritually and seems to have his priorities straight. We may not be able to be a lot of help because of distance, but God has no boundaries. I would like to ask that everybody on here click on his page and request that you be allowed to be his friend and him yours. He asked for prayers, let's give them to him in a big way, continually, and maybe one day we will read a post from him that says his health has been restored. That way we will know that we worked together as a team, did all we could, and won.

Pray for his family too, that they may find some comfort through the Lord.

Thanks Salasahound. You are right the responce has been overwhelming. It is encouraging to know that even though we do not personaly know each other that TRUE VFL have a compassionale HEART. I Still do not have many details to share but I will try to keep VOL NATON informed. Thanks again for your kind and encouraging words.

I certainly pray and will continue to pray that God will send healing and a full recovery to you. I also pray that God will be with you and your family and give you all the strength and grace to make through whatever you must endure. I have no doubt He will.

We made a deal . My daughter just came out of ICU to a regular room. She is doing good . I have not slept , but I'm here to back up my part . We will be here in the hospital for at least 4-5 more days. I want you to know that I will be thinking of you and will pray for you. Our road is still rough , my daughter has a disorder that has no cure. I could type 1000 words , but I'll stop (because my grammar is horrific) .... Push through buddy , we have life to live. I cried when the surgeon told us my daughters surgery went well. I have my family NOW .She is not cured, but we are here. I will now say a prayer for you . Go Big Orange

Perhaps the most ignorant, uninformed, uneducated post ever. Over time, they map genes that cause cancer. Apparently you are unaware of all the positive strides made toward the total erradication of cancer one day if God wills.

I am in a Bible-believing, Christ honoring local church; I'd rather have my church family praying for me than anyone else in the world, but the reverence and sincerity of some of the Volnation family is awesome. For anyone who values the power of prayer, thank you. I pray.
