Knight to Europe
Sources tonight have officially confirmed that Brandon Knight is indeed leaving UK and will sign with the professional team in Italy, the Palacanestro Biellas. Knight says this was the reason he had held out on signing a NLI with the University of Kentucky. "I feel this was the right direction to take my game and that I was better off by playing in Italy for a year, I mean, look at what Jennings has done in his first season in the league." Knight also cited that he was weary about Calipari on whether he is going to stay another season in Kentucky. "Calipari treated me like royalty from day one, but recently he seems more withdrawn and I think he has other job offers on his mind." This decision is a shocker to many because of Knight's academic prowess, but Knight has said that it didn't factor in his decision and will still attempt to obtain a degree at some other point during his life. "I apologize to the Big Blue, but I look forward to fine tuning my game in Europe before I head to the pro's."
