Not all of it is bad but some of it is. Maybe it's just a difference of opinion, but singing about the Vols doesn't automatically make it good. Someone posted a Tennessee rap video that was terrible. Can't remember which group he was from but it pretty much ruined Rocky Top

Opinions are like ass holes, weve all got one. I wont put anything on there I dont like. Not all the songs are about the Vols specifically, some just about the state in general.

So I am making a TN cd for the ride to The Swamp to bug the piss out of the traveling gator friend of mine. Need to know some TN songs and where I can download them. So far I have:

Crying Volun-tears
Rocky Top (of course)
Teach me how to Dooley
Orange white
Footvol
Touchdown Tennessee

Anybody know any more?

If you remember the local band called "The Rounders" or AKA "The Tennessee Rounders" they had a number of good songs. One they did that mentions Tennessee a lot is "Tennessee Border"

Was actually good friends with pee wee and channing of the rounders. It was an every week ordeal to listen to their acoustic sets at the OLD Buds on Brainerd. I do hate that they broke up. I was a huge fan. Saw them in so many dive bars with PBR on draft its not even funny. Their remake of tennessee stud is awesome (which is already on the cd lol).

I wish they had stayed together too, although the second album you could easily hear the departure of musical styles between the two. Not sure if that had anything to do with the split.

Centerline was by far my favorite song from them.

I'm trying to think of some rock songs about TN....
