Need help from an AD insider

Can anyone give me an idea of what the schedule for October is going to be next year. The only thing I can find is Ga on the 5th. We are trying to get a wedding scheduled. Looks like we have a game on the 28th of September, FL is normally the weekend before that, so, it looks like 10/12 would maybe be an open date.

Just get married on Friday. It's cheaper too.

We got married on Friday and on Saturdsy we had a tailgate with 120 people. We got a block of 40 tickets (mostly together) and watch TN throttle UGA in 2009. Great weekend!

I don't know an AD insider, but from what I hear Clay Travis is inside of a certain coach every night.

that is why you get married at the game, talk to the athletic director and see if you could do it at halftime, Orange tux, Orange and White wedding dress, and the Pride of the south playing the wedding march/Rocky Top.

I like the op, got to have priorities. Might I suggest Townsend, great wedding location choices, and then you can drive to game. Assuming she passes quiz. Though if she modeled for B-stizzy's avatar that's worth 2 points... for sportsmanship.

Agree up front (a prenup?) that your anniversary will ALWAYS be an open date weekend regardless of the date. "Our anniversary is the first open date after September." It will also keep you out of the doghouse for forgetting it ... hmmm, no game so it must be our anniversary. Otherwise move it to another season or find a reasonable spousal unit replacement.

So? I'm a chick. I'd rather watch football than go to some fancy dinner anyway. He can put a bow on a twelve-pack.

The phrase is thrown around way too much, but this truly is, "the post of the year"

got married during a game (Wyoming loss) and my son was born just before the bama game last season. Don't regret either

when you have a choice to get married on that date or wait 2yrs for your wife's dream church to come open you suck it up

Thanks Lulu:

1) Ain't my wedding. We celebrated 28 years in August. As mentioned above, if it was FB season a cold 12 pack and some dogs on the grill would be preferable to my girl.
2) It is my sons wedding. He is marrying an awesome girl that isn't from around here. She wants an Oct wedding.
3) Just trying to help them out.

Thanks Deerpark, I guess she will just have to pick a Saturday and go with it. I am thinking that it should be the Bama day as the game will most likely be an afternoon game in Tuscaloosa and they are having an evening wedding. We get to watch the game, have the wedding and then party about the victory!

The problem isn't really the game but getting the hotel block. That is going to be the problem.

When I get married, I'm making sure that the wedding takes place in May. If my woman wants it in the fall, I'm breaking it off.

The Alabama game will almost certainly be on the third Saturday, regardless of the possible reshuffling.
