I just bought my tickets to the UCLA game and I was just wondering, how is the parking at the stadium? And what time is the vol walk? Any advice will be greatly appreciated....

The Vol walk is normally 2-3 hours before the game. I can't remember for sure.

Parking is a nightmare if you don't have a parking pass. Honestly the best place to park is by the interstate. They have a place that you can park right when you get off the interstate. It's a good little walk, but you can just get right back on the interstate and you can just jump right back on and head home...If your not from Knoxville.

The parking is bad. Be sure and get there early, watch the vol walk, watch the band come to the stadium. Be sure and stand back and see the flood of orange and white. You will never be the same again. You are about to take on a life changing event. If you are not a true blue through and through "BIG ORANGE FAN" you will be on Sept. 12 !!!

you are not gonna be able to park near the stadium unless you get there super early. and parking runs around 15$ of the strip. its a fun walk though.

where are some good places to park near the Strip?

If you ever find any, let me know. The closest ones to the strip are probably the meter spots along Volunteer. They shut the meters off on Saturdays so its first-come, first-serve for those spots. It's a hell of a walk to the stadium but its free parking.

PARKING DILEMA

If you want a short walk to the stadium you can park closer and pay like $20 to park but will take you a long time just to get to the interstate.

If you are not staying after the game and are driving back you will need to park far away so you won't have to wait in all that slow bs traffic but will cost you $10

A place I love to park at is in a church parking lot. It is like a 15 min walk to the stadium and 20 min to the strip. I don't know the name of it but I think it is near Cumberland st.

sorry for vague info

Just reading your descripton of gameday I got tears in my eyes! I love going to the games, smelling the food cooking out in the parking lots and being around over 100,000 of my closest family members! GO VOLS!!!!
