We need a recruiter to come to Griffin,Ga. Tennessee did in the past recruit here a lot. Wille Gault, Fred White just to name a few. Griffin is 7-0 and has some awesome talent.
Lots of recruiter for other schools are here. Ga. is here every week. My Question is how can I pass this info to the recruiting staff.

If there is talent in Griffin, they will recruit there.

187 posts in 9 years, you're really pacing yourself! I'd say send in film and hope it catches someone's eye.

Do you have anyone in mind? who on the Griffin team do you think we should be recruiting? I am not familiar with their roster ...

I AM ON HERE EVERY DAY, Just don't comment. Seems like someone always has something negative to say. I just stay away from commenting.

FYI, sometimes it takes a player/coach putting a video together with highlights and getting it to the athletic department. Further, there are websites for high school football recruitment, and youtube is a great recruitment tool.

Also, if a coach has someone who is interested in a certain school, the coach can contact the university's athletic department as well.

If the university sees something that catches their eye, they wil go make a visit.

Thats how I have seen things happen in the past.

I searched recruits in Griffin, Ga on Rivals.com and came up we these 5....

2015 WR Christian Owens 4 star Georgia commit
2015 WR Darquavious Mangham n/a
2015 WR Keyston Fuller n/a
2014 DBs Lawrence and Lance Austin (twins) 3 stars both Georgia Tech commits.

The 2015 WRs are all tall and fast, certainly look like guys to keep and eye on and Im sure the staff knows about them. Not sure we need WR in 2015 but the OP is correct, that team has a bunch of talent.

The QB is the star. He is rated as GHS best QB in its 60 yr history. This says a lot. Being recruited by lots of schools including Harvard. Very smart kid. His lean is Air force.

Same reason I read but rarely comment. I came to this site for 2 years before I made an account.

PS, I'm from Jackson. As a kid there was nothing to do in Jackson so we would cruise Griffin on Fri/Sat nights.

Whoa there sally. It was a bit of a joke (not even a negative one at that). I also gave you a suggestion for the question you asked. I'll remember not to do that next time.

Didn't take it negative and thanks for the suggestion. most of the film or tape are sent to Ga. or Ala.

I'm sure a LOT of people are like this. A friend of mine stalks here regularly. Bright guy with a lot of insight. He's had an account for a long time. He never posts because he doesn't like the confrontational attitude of a lot of the posters.

Sad actually. We're inadvertently running off some quality input. :ermm:

I agree. One of my best friends played on the '07 team. He always ask me during the games "what's volnation saying these days?" Always gets a kick out of the cliff jumper comments.

I don't know for sure now, but back then he said a lot of the guys would come on here.

Exactly why I stay quiet around here... Love the Vols, but the message boards have become difficult to stomach over the last couple years.

Seems pretty obvious that there is a direct correlation between on field disappointment and the quality of message board posts, but CBJ appears to be turning things around so hopefully this will only be a short term problem going forward.

There are still plenty of excellent posters around, you just have to wade through the trash to get to them. This is the only reason I still get on here every day.

Go Vols!

I'm another one that's on here eveyday but very rarely posts. Lots of people on here trying to one up others at being a jackass.
