Only passes Neal will be catching will be screen and swing passes out of the backfield. I hope the O does a little more of that this year.

OP. It's 100% no, or #$%^#$%^ NO, I think it's a pretty good feel for the sentiments round here.

BTW, look who the coaches released as the backup at WR! Along w White Lightening, which is expected, is Cody Blanc. Interesting. Not a word from the media on him, and little (except pessimism) from the fans. Coaches may have seen something

NO!!!!!!! The running game must be good also. We need balance even more now. Besides he's great at catching out of the backfield also.

lol at this thread.

Dude, Neal is kicking butt at running back. Our number one question is the run game.

Trust me, Neal won't go near the passing game, except out of the backfield.

He's the starting rb, of course he's not moving to WR.

What from last season makes you think that?

Threads are getting dumber and dumber as the day progresses.

Honestly based on that who would have thought Neal would have won the starting RB job? I honestly thought after being passed by FR and walk ons then moved to WR he would never play RB again. But congrats to him, he busted his ass and won the job!

If the coaches have a gut feel that DR will be suspended for a sizeable chunk of the season, do they move Neal back to WR since he played a lot at that position last year?

I know Neal has proven himself as the #1 back, but I think Young and Lane would be able to carry the load and would be pretty solid. They both have in-game experience from last year as well..

I know part of this decision would depend on how well CP does early on..

Thoughts?

Thoughts? You need a drug test.

Neal wasn't that great at WR last year. We have others to be sub par at WR. Neal needs to run the ball and hold the F on.

No way they move the starting RB to be the third WR.
