I am comfortable that CJP can do more with 3*s than any of the 2 previous coaches could do with 4's and 5's.

He literally signed the number 1 player in the nation. Low hanging fruit?

I agree, but at some point we have to move on. CBJ is just BJ now. CJP is our captain. Let's focus on what he can do.

Who knows with CJP. I am not a star gazer (KMac and JKelly come to mind) but I'm excited about tomorrow. I think we will get our fair share. And I think he is building a foundation for his schemes. Might be a couple tough transition years, but we got some dudes (4 4* DL iirc) and are going to add a couple more.

This is only the beginning for CJP and the Vols.

It’s unreal. He recruited very well. He just couldn’t keep them here and he couldn’t keep them healthy. And he botched his OC hire. Those three things (transfers, injuries, OC) and why he’s gone. And deservingly so

And don’t forget , players that were talented enough to be NFL Roy needed help getting on first team

Or how the best athlete on the team (Byrd) was somehow talented enough to be a big part of our offense as a freshman, but then the next year without Malone or Jennings, we just decided not to use him.
