Since the start of the 2008 season, Notre Dame has played in 21 games decided by 7 points or less.

2008:

Stanford W 28-21
UNC L 29-24
Pitt L 36-33 OT
Navy W 27-21

2009:

Michigan L 38-34
Mich St. W 33-30
Purdue W 24-21
Wash. W 37-30 OT
USC L 34-27
BC W 20-16
Navy L 23-21

I am so glad I am not a ND fan, because I would not be able to handle this. Close games make me rip my hair out, especially when we (UT) give them away...something ND has been excellent at the past few years.

They aren't as crazy as Notre Dame's.

UT has had 11 games in the last 3 years that have been decided by 7 points or less:
