Sadly I think this is the coach that is coming.

I just don't understand how you go after a Gundy type coach and all the sudden Currie is down to these caliper of coaches????

Some folks say it's classless to attack the potential coach. However our AD is choosing to ignore the fanbase and former players leaving us no choice unfortunately.

Dave Doeren was coaching for his job last year versus North Carolina to end the season.

I am a lifelong Vols fan. I will be sitting over here in the corner, watching a UT team play hard and be well coached. It's called basketball and it is VERY enjoyable. Somebody just kindly let me know when the cluster@#$% of hiring a football coach is over.

Picking from the Bottom of the Barrel

We finally have hit the bottom of the coaching barrel, NC State coach barely making $2 million a year.

Doeren’s current salary of $2.2 million ranks only 10th among the 12 public school coaches in the ACC.

Currie will probably double it, I am feeling sick. Our only hope is NC State has made him a counter offer to stay, Please accept it, pretty please.

I think Dorean is a good X's and O's coach. He would have beaten eventual national champion Clemson last year if his kicker could hit a chip shot field goal..and played them to the wire this year. His teams play waaaay better than their talent level. Taking NIU to the Orange Bowl vs Fla St was unheard of for a group of undersized 2 star recruits. BUT....the big thing is recruiting. Without that we are screwed...and he has had weak classes during his entire tenure at NC State. If someone could put a positive spin on his recruiting i'd like to hear it. Seriously.
