We are glad to have Ray. His circumstances and current skillset lend themselves to our playing style. Terry was a great pickup for you guys and I fully expect to see you guys annually in the ECFs

On a completely unrelated note, NC State is going to get smashed and demoralized by the start of the 2nd qtr

For some reason i envision a group of NC State fans sitting around the computer trying to think up something to say...kinda like leeeeroyyy jenkinnns

I hate to say this, but they have at least 2 ('74 and '83) NCAA championships in basketball. Being a basketball school in NC is the real deal. I want to talk trash as much as the next Vol fan, but I will respect their basketball program...i simply ask that they give our football program the same props. None of that matters Aug 31 though...the gloves come off.

NC State has a nice stadium and fills it now that O'Brien is coaching.They are not a bad team IMO....There will probably be a lot of red in the city & Dome this August/Sept. [Oh and they have some kicking stadium food choices - reminds one of the county fair]

I do enjoy good insight & trash talk from opposing fans, but here at VolNation the average poster has very thin skin.
As soon as they say something fanatical it will be the old.."get out of here troll, go back to the Wolfpack board".

When I first signed up here it was before we played Cal at Cal. They were coming off a epic beatdown and even then it took until August for the their fans to start showing up & running off at the mouth. It was good fun messing with the Cal fans, but I wish I could of been here the August before.

That and add the fact that NCSU has not played a decent opening game yet under O'brien. They are trash in their openers. Even against the little boys. That team will not show in Atlanta.
