Who else would you put on the cover?

And be realistic, don't say Meachem. I mean a national cover.

So much for my suggested trend of the Heisman trophy winner being on the cover, as long as they're out of school... is it possible Troy Smith played his way off the cover? :lol:

Meachem would even be a better "national" cover than a guy from Boise State.

Calvin Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Brady Quinn, Troy Smith, Chris Leak, Dwayne Jarrett...

Not that it matters, anyway... does anyone decide whether or not they're going to buy the game by who is on the cover?

Well, that Fiesta Bowl was an all-timer for sure. Could even make an argument for the best D-IA college football game over the last decade, at least. Zabransky is not as bad a choice as some of you are saying he is.

That said, I would have gone with Calvin Johnson. He might be among the most physically gifted athletes to ever play the game.

I think they should have one player represent each of the main conferences. Have multiple box covers.

Wonder if the game is going to be a warmed over version of last years with the rosters updated.

You know what its been since ehhh 2002. Except for now the shoulders aren't so big.

other than the Fiesta Bowl, it seems to me like Zabranksy has been a choker...went they went and played UGA he had what 4 INT at the half? He even choker in the Hawaii Senior Bowl this past year

I agree with all those names but Meachem. My pick would have been Johnson.

Well that game against OU proved that he is not a big choker; He does make bad decisions, but that took some serious cajones on the part of the entire roster to pull that game off.

And on that second part, it's the freaking senior bowl?!?!?! Why does that count for anything?? :wacko:

It's good for them in no one really dislikes Zabransky.

People dislike Smith and people certainly dislike Quinn. I just wish they didn't put those attrocious uniforms on there. I hope there is no part of the field on the cover.


I still think CJ was the best choice, followed by AP.

Is there ever field on the cover? Just the player.

And about CJ and AP making the cover, I don't think you have to worry about offending those in Athens, GA or Stillwater, OK. I hear PS2 is scheduled for release in those places around 2009.
