Hamilton and Dooley probably don't have a clue what, if anything shady went on. If Hamilton does, and he didn't report it, then he should be gone.

i would be surprised if hamilton didnt know what was going on. i read last spring where he was on a recruiting trip with kiffin and orgeron showing usc videos to jarvis giles. dont know how many trips he went on but i wouldnt be surprised if he went on other big ones.

i cant help but believe that we will take any and all punishment from this investigation. at the time the rules were violated all of those involved were under contract with the university.

remember back at the army all american game (i think) when kiffin and co. were there and got some press about there "bending" the rules as far as talking to parents instead of players or something like that.

this just continues ro reek

I tend to agree.

The school is the only one to pay a price here. If the coach is gone, you can't fire him. They only thing you can count on is BB not saying anything that would make him ineligible to play. He can throw the school under the bus.

Well if we get screwed, let's just go out and play the spoiler. Break opponents QBs legs and take everybody with us. What the hell.

I honestly think that will depend on if the Athletic Department knew about any of it. If so then yes we will be screwed and rightfully so. If not then i think they will just keep a close eye on Kiffin and Company while at SC since I doubt they can force the punishment on him directly. If Hammy has done his job right, then we shouldn't have to much to worry about.....

Agree with most. They are after Kiffins azz!! For sure. If they beat us down for a coach that came in for a year and a month and turned our program upside down and we have to pay for it, then that is major BS! In my opinion Slive has probably been in the ear of the NCAA since all this began. And I've got to believe he's telling them to go after the right people. The slugs that crawled off to USC and tried steal the cupboard.

I bet if Dooley would've been a little more understanding about "Freeing Bryce," Mr. Brown would have been a little more understanding about keeping his mouth shut about how sketchy UT's program has been.

Dooley is doing what his daddy taught him. "If you can change it, change it. If you can't, change the way you think about it."

Bryce Brown is going to sing like a bird, and will serve as the star witness in the NCAA's case against UT under Kiffin. He will get Dezzed if he doesn't, and will retain his eligibility by doing so.

In other words, he is about to become the Albert Means of Tennessee. If he actually did receive all that money by Bama boosters to sign...how in the world was he still eligible play NCAA football for Memphis? Because he played ball the way they wanted him to.

Bryce is about to do the same.

No way. This has nothing to do with UT, nothing to do with Lane. It has everything to do with Brian Butler. Not sure what, exactly UT could have done wrong. The UT girls surely didn't get on a plane to Witchita to watch a game. This is a non-event.

Is that where they train witches?

It's actually common practice. The 'AA routinely reaches out to high profile transfers to inquire about their initial recruitment. Thus, in and of itself, it's nothing strange. Also, if UT had reason to think there were improrieties in Brown's recruitment they wouldn't be playing hardball with his release. This strikes me more as the 'AA making sure Team Kiffin understands they are being watched.

Good post. :good!:

Also, is anyone else annoyed by the fact that it's always daddy Bryce talking to the media? Let your 20-22 year olds grow up already. Having their back and supporting them is one thing... it's another to constantly speak on their behalf.
