A.Brown: "We have nothing to hide.... If we made a mistake I can say it would not have been intentional... (This) is about more than Bryce."

Now, if the NCAA finds out Kiffin did vilolate recruiting rules would this affect us? Or is it possible that if Brown gets what he wants then he keeps Kiffin's rule breaking on ice?

I don't really know what to think of this.
It's actually common practice. The 'AA routinely reaches out to high profile transfers to inquire about their initial recruitment. Thus, in and of itself, it's nothing strange. Also, if UT had reason to think there were improrieties in Brown's recruitment they wouldn't be playing hardball with his release. This strikes me more as the 'AA making sure Team Kiffin understands they are being watched.

They investigated Bryce last year too. The only explanation as to to why they are going back to the well is that the NCAA wants Kiffin BAD! I hope that Tennessee is not collateral damage during their hunt.

bump it! If we get penalties we can overcome it. Bryce father has to know that if they say anything too strong that could incriminate his son then that would screw up Bryce future even more.

Bryce Brown won't be able to get in a word anyway since his Dad and his "handler" will be talking over him.

K Thanks for my common sense dose. Much better now.

I feel Mr. Brown is trying to use this on UT into giving his son a release.

Hamilton and Dooley probably don't have a clue what, if anything shady went on. If Hamilton does, and he didn't report it, then he should be gone.

You people don't get it. If Kiffin did something wrong while at Tennessee we will pay for it. You think just because it's Kiffin they are not after UT. And these people on here saying ESPN don't like Tennessee. Grow up people. This is not high school. It's crazy the way some of these people think. When Calapari got into trouble they got U Mass and Memphis and took wins away. What did they do to Cal. NOTHING

I'm almost glad to hear this news. The sooner they deal with all this crap, the sooner we can close this horrible chapter of Tennessee football. Bring it on...and quickly please! (We need to know if there are any Kiffin players we should hold out of games)

I honestly think that will depend on if the Athletic Department knew about any of it. If so then yes we will be screwed and rightfully so. If not then i think they will just keep a close eye on Kiffin and Company while at SC since I doubt they can force the punishment on him directly. If Hammy has done his job right, then we shouldn't have to much to worry about.....

Will be interesting to see if the hardball continues now that The Man is knocking on the door.. If all of a sudden Bryce gets his release it would speak volumes, however, if Dooley continues to deny him, I agree that we have nothing to worry about.
