I think he was the case of a player who fell through the cracks and was developed.

Seems like every year I had a bracket there would always be one team that would result in me tossing it in the trash.
This is the first year in a long time I didn't do any brackets. I kinda like it, I can fully embrace and root for chaos.

He had a couple of offers, one from South Carolina but chose Murray State. I read something awhile back that said Murray State was at a tournament to watch a recruit, the coach went to get a snack, and seen Morant playing in another gym. He wasn't listed on a roster or anything because he was a late addition. He played in a couple more tournaments and got more offers. I think he was a 2 star recruit If I'm not mistaken.
