NCAA Tournament: Sort of a gamethread

Maybe. Leunen can play well inside, sometimes...

Wazzu decides to quicken the pace of the game, and catches up for halftime.

The Hoyas are at least starting to play as though they realize they have to actually participate in the game, not just watch it.

It sucks for me because that game is on locally here and it won't let me watch it on cbssportsline.

georgetown is shooting way too many 3's to be taking belmont seriously.

Scratch my last comment -- you're right. They're not acting like they expect to have to do any work when they're just jacking it up from out there.

Why make this complicated? Dump it in to Hibbert, pound the glass, and go home.

All G'Town had to do was get off the bus and they'd win... Took them a few minutes into the game to get off the bus, though.

Parenthetically, I just want to say that I don't know how we ever lived without the internet. Being able to watch games like this is fantastic.

Sports Illustrated says, and I quote:

"Belmont gives Terps a Scare."

Who do they have working at these places, anyway?

The 2/15 game really ought not to be the main game anywhere except where the teams in question are from. Cut to it only if it's interesting.

Over Kansas? I know you have something specific in mind to base that pick on.....what was it?

Kansas depends on a lot on transition baskets - like Tennessee. Their defense creates offense. While Nova has a FR PG, he's extremely fast and will break press on his own. If he has problems, SR SG Mike Nardi can handle the rock.

Kansas also tries to look spectacular more often than they should - and I don't think Self will keep them focuses. Villanova has a great defense, too, not just Kansas.

AND Villanova might be the best 9 seed ever.

Wazzu playing better, starting to hit shots and grab more rebounds. Pulling away. Up by 7 a couple minutes into the half.

Now that the Georgetown game is at halftime, CBS needs to cut away from it and not come back unless Belmont pulls to within five points in the second half.
