Didn’t understand it. At least play it 3/4 court to slow down the advance, but the guy took a bad angle and they were get up court quick

I just saw the best officiating review. UConn’s Ross shoved UCLA player into another UConn player. They called a common foul on UCLA’s player before loudmouth Hurley demanded a review (trying for a flagrant). The refs then changed the foul to Ross. Finally saw the refs use the replay to get it right.

Sounds like some lie a drunk would come up with - nobody with a brain intentionally fouls late in the game to allow the other team to tie it up!

It makes no sense. He’s just in CYA mode and he’s probably embarrassed with the coaching and execution to end the game

Another exposure of his lack of character. As head coach he should have owned the failed late game strategy or the poor communication with players if they failed to execute the hypothetical strategy.

Florida gets away with so many fouls, they may as well tackle someone and see whether the refs let it go. Chances are you create another clutch turnover when you’re playing for one of the NCAA’s darlings.
