NCAA Tournament Game Thread - (4) Ohio State vs (5) Lady Vols

you won't get one
I am not asking for Kim to get T'd up, but I am going to stay on this focus until I see her stand up to refs,,,It is a part of coaching that is missing from her and if I am the only one to see it,,,then I AM the only one to see it and can live with that

the refs fueled the opening qtr 8 fouls to 2 and the third as well...She simply has to stand up to them
I know I won’t get one because you don’t have one. At this point you might as well go follow Kim down in the bayou. Some jacket tosses might satisfy you.

I follow the team I have supported since 1982 and have no intentions of following the Big Bird

My emotions in this game went from thinking that :

The LV's would get runout of the arena in 1st quarter

To maybe they have a chance in 2nd quarter

To we have this sucker in the bag when LV's went up by 17points in 3rd quarter

To they are going to screw around and lose this game in last minutes of 3rd quarter when OSU made huge comeback

To we are going to win this sucker with about 3 minutes left in the game and 10 point lead

To exhilaration when the horn went off signaling the end of the game.

It seems, like Kellie it's not in her nature..

We just beat the crap out of Ohio State. They hadn't lost a game at home all season. Cooper was amazing tonight as was the entire team. I didn't think we could turn them over, but wow forced them into over 20 turnovers.

Ohio St. coach knew they were in trouble after the initial 16-5 run didn't work out.

A perfect explanation of why you’ll see all types of posts during a game thread.

I don't block anyone. If you think you know more than anyone why are you not a big time coach somewhere ? Kim is the coach she is and true Lady VOLS FANS Love what she's doing.
no need to block me volagain...I am a fan and love my Lady Vols,,,I simply post purely as a coach of over 40 years and I don't actively coach right now, but do work with top recruits and players throughout the year

How can you expect your players to keep composure in the face of bad calls if you can't do it yourself?

Coach stayed calm, team stayed calm, and went on to win by 15 in a hostile environment, postseason ball on the road. Either the team adjusted or the refs adjusted, and the rest of the game was called pretty fairly, I thought.

GBO!

Her being a mother has exactly 0 to do with working the refs. The next time Rick Barnes does something you don’t like, are you going to post “Time to stop being a grandpa and start being a coach!”?

Well why are you saying it here? I doubt Caldwell reads this place. Go to a practice and say it to her face.

Now that I think about it, I can't even tell if I'm being serious or not. But if it's such a big deal, go tell her.

And tell me. So I can watch. From the top row. Behind the pillar.

1st and 3rd quarters we're pretty bad. Don't know why they did what they did but it was one sided. 2nd and 4th was really consistent.

I relish the opportunity to do just that

Kim's first year here and she has taken us as far in the tournament as Kellie ever did. That is a good sign for a rebuilding year where pretty much everything about the program changed.

I always thought the change was justified, but that should ease the concerns of others who were more doubtful.

It will be nice to get a full load of athletes on board next year so we can go full bore for an entire game. There will be more growing pains to come since it will be a big freshman class that will have to be relied upon for a lot of minutes. But the upside will be huge.

Are you currently an assistant coach for the UT women’s basketball team? An analyst? Consultant?

Assuming the answer to those questions is “no,” you have the exact same relationship to the women’s team that you do to the men’s team: fan.
