You know the NCAA should go after the coaches that do these things. If a coach does something wrong and gets the school he is at on probation, he is allowed to leave and go to another school and coach with nothing being done.

Travis' lack of journalistic professionalism shows in this article. He would much rather release a very opinionated article with nothing solid in it, versus enjoy this signing class, which is VERY solid. I truly question if he is a fan of UT. He's nothing but a shock jock who CRAVES attention, look at the Fisher press conference for evidence of that.

I know this is recruiting day, and Dooley and his coaches done a great job. But i seen this headline on here the NCAA might smack Tennessee and Lane Kiffin for when he was a coach here. I don't know about the rest but when is the NCAA going to just go after the coaches and not the school. If a coach gets a school on probation, he is allowed to go coach another school without anything happening to him. After the Cam Newton crap you just never know what the NCAA will do. Again Dooley and the coaching staff great job of recruiting!!!!!!!!!!

The administrators of institutions are supposed to manage and be aware of the activities within their respective programs. Just sayin...

I'm not sweating it. I think Auburn paid for a national championship and kiffen just inked something like 28-30 players after being sanctioned. I think they will let you do anything in college football as long as you make them money and I bet we got as many fans as anyone willing to watch and buy anthing the ncaa stamps, as long as it is UT orange.

Why does everyone speculate about crap they know nothing about? We might have an earthquake that destroys Neyland Stadium tomorrow, and we might not. Tonight I'm going to get a good nights sleep and quit worrying about something I have no control of.

I listen to the show everyday. I started listening to the show after I saw everybody on here basically salivating with every soundbite Clay gave to them (not you or anything, just alot of folks on here starting threads with his quotes). From the very first day I started listening to the show I despised him. He seems to talk out of his azz, and does a great job of tooting his own horn IMO. For someone that claims to be a fan of the school, it sure seems like he doesn't mind tarnishing it's image for his personal gain. Not suprising of course though.

It was reported on the radio that the ncaa would mail the loi this friday or monday. This does not look good for us. I have been afraid that this would happen, I think hamilton needs to go, the only way he stays is if we get off free in all programs. I wonder how long it will take us to hear what is in the loi after hamilton recieves it. People do not remember of things coming out later after they had happen earlier and hamilton knowing about it. I sure do and I do not like the way this thing is headed for us. THIS HAS TURNED A GOOD DAY INTO A NIGHTMARE. I mean look at what he is saying, the coach has lied and the ncaa has evidence of it. THAT IS OUR TWO COACHES AND TWO PROGRAMS IF WHAT HE IS REPORTING, is found to be true, and we can thank hamilton for both of them. If we get hit and I am beginning to think we will, I hope we get rid of hamilton if he does not step down. Yes he makes us money, but we will find someone else that will also, we are TENNESSEE !!!!!! GREAT DAY IN RECUITING I WILL CLOSE ON A HIGH NOTE AND TRY TO LOOK AT THE GOOD SIDE OF THINGS, GO BIG ORANGE.

The UT athletic department has taken a very wrong turn under the direction of Hamilton. He is totally incompetent in his job and should still be working only in the development office where he did a great job of raising money.

He messed up the football program by not canning his lazy football coach in 2005 and everything as a result of that has been down hill since. Now it invokes basketball and baseball so it is not just a localized problem but a global problem.

If the university really wants to show that they are serious about cleaning things up then they need to clean house with the exception of Dooley. Otherwise they are selling tainted goods to the fans and the NCAA.

If this were to occur then we need to find a competent AD and not hire some good ole boy ex lazy coach either.

In the real world, Managers are held accountable for inproprieties and/or shortcomings...The jokers in the NCAA need to pound CLK and CEO...not CDD and boys that had nothing to do with the past regime's management planning and execution.

Really? Hamilton, in his first year on the job didn't fire a legend coach in 2005? I mean, what was he thinking? He should have canned Fulmer with zero booster support, found himself a coach and then watched the donations tank? Let's get in reality a bit here. You don't show the NCAA you're serious by firing every coach. You say "whoops, we'll try not to do it again" and take some punishment. If Dooley keeps doing what he is doing we have good coaches in place in the two sports that matter and make a profit. Dooley is looking like a good hire and no way in hell could Fulmer have been fired in 2005.

If anyone has a VQ account Hubbs has commented on the NCAA situation in the forum. Someone go check it out and report back. I'd be much more willing to listen to Hubbs than Travis on the matter.

I am so glad we have Pat Summitt at our University. Thanks to the respect that so many (including the NCAA) have for her, everything will be alright in the long term.
