needs to be head accountable for their actions in this matter. Discussing the names of minors in a story like this is unacceptable. Then the NCAA going and interviewing these kids without parental consent is illegal. This kids are upstanding citizens and do not need their names drug through the mud over some "accusation" the NCAA pulled out of it's butt. I would be outraged if someone did this to my child. Could there be any repercussions brought against these two outfits in the near future? Sorry if this doesn't warrant a new thread but I couldn't find the proper thread to put it in.

Most of these guys have their parents quoted as well, so permission was probably given. On top of that, some of these guys may not be minors. Some could be 18 and in some states 17 is considered as being an adult. I am sure the New York Times is aware of the laws regarding minors.

The NCAA most not be then because per Mr. Willis' mouth, they came and got Brandon out of class to interview him without his father's permission.

The NCAA and NEW YORK TIMES have made a secret alliance to bash on UT and get the recruits to DEcommit, they dont like kiffin so they will do anything in there power to stop him, there going to recruits homes and telling them all the ''bad stuff'' so they can get the recruits to think that UT is just has bad as the alabama cheating cycle.Think about it,everything good that happens to UT,EPSN never shows any respect toward them like they do with alabama and florida, when tobias harris commited, they showed the lady vols logo.Either there trying ANYTHING to bash UT or they just made a mistake,Either way it makes ESPN look foolish and stupid. Man is this true?.....The cops cant even do that......

pulled this from the recruiting forum

"I let him know first and foremost that I did not appreciate him that I didn't appreciate him getting my son out of class without his dad being there," Gary Willis said. "We have nothing to hide."

You can speak with a minor without an adults consent as long as they are not conficted or being investigated for a crime themselves. They were being interviewed as witnesses.

I can understand that, but it still does not make it acceptable. I have a feeling all of this investigation wasn't by the book and we will hear about it soon
