NCAA March Madness 3rd Round: Sunday

Yes, please.

Even though I'm a dumbass. :p

I really do want us to win. I was just hoping to see Martin beat some quality teams. I know he's going to get an extra year and that's fine. But if he gets an extension for this run, I'll cry. If he beats Michigan after Mercer, I wouldn't hate an extension as much. If he beats Louisville or Kentucky after Michigan, give him the extension. I was using a run to the Sweet 16 as a test to see how good he is. He's just really had to play nobody good though to get there. Go to Sweet 16, give him another year. Beat Michigan, give him another year. He has to get past both Michigan and Louisville/Kentucky to be worthy of an extension in my books. Maybe that's why I'm not running s***.

He's getting more than 1 extra year

You could pick three NCAA teams out of a hat, and odds are kentucky has more talent than the three combined. They are always fighting inexperience. Surely played their best game of the year today--and I hate them for it as my bracket is now destroyed. I had both Wichita State and Iowa St. going to the final four. Wichita state is legit but kentucky played out of its mind today--and iowa state's second best player broke his foot and is done and they will probably lose today! It amazes me that Cal apparently enjoys his one-and-done program--I just can't see how it is gratifying to see so many players leave after a year.

Marshall admitted that his first 2 options were baker and Anthony.

That's what calling that TO does. Cal called a D to take those 2 out

Tough loss for Marshall. He created something special this year. Will be interesting what he does.

Or the three good teams match up well with the opponents they're getting and the bad teams are still bad?

i think it's the following.

in florida's case, it's been a damn good team all year.

in tennessee and kentucky's case, they are teams with talent that happened to figure it out at the right time of year.

everyone knows the amount of mcdonald's aa at kentucky.

and as i and others have said, stokes is one of the top 5 post scores in the country. tennessee had the best guard-forward duo in the sec.

i am not watching these games and believing these teams are getting lucky.

i am actually believing the sec schedule prepared florida for a run more than i thought.

i mean how many jordan mcrae's and jarnell stokes are there. how many julius randle's are there.

as someone here said before, tennessee played wichita state, florida and virginia. does anyone think they are scared when they take the floor?

Agree with everything you said. Watching UT is quite astonishing to say the least. We literally look like a completely different team. I'm not sure what clicked, but it couldn't have had better timing.

I think it's strange how after we beat down Virginia they decided to click and make their run.

Wichita state barely escaped that game.

And that last game against Florida was when I really sensed something. It was a good hard fought game to the end and I just had a good feeling about this tournament.
