Trying to find where MH suggested this. All I have read was that an LOI had not been previously received. BUT, they would not be surprised if one was issued. Some articles went so far as to say it was more a question of when than if.

I hope you make the game then... I honestly don't think you realize how load it really is... I would ten to think the only one that even comes close would be LSU at a night game as it is really loud too, but it doesn't hold up to ours IMO...:clapping:

From the lying scandal in basketball, to the lane kiffin BS, to the general crap play we have had recently in football
We need to get this win tomorrow, to get the fans excited and get the media talking about UT in a positive way again. This win could catapult our confidence to something we haven't had in a very long time.

So all that we can do as fans is have faith and confidence in our h.c. and our football team and if you're at the game tomorrow, cheer as loud as you again and make that difference as the 12th man on the field tomorrow. GO VOLS!

There has been a black eye on the entire University of quite a while. From the cold war with ESPN (who can forget the commercials) to the continued problems with the criminal justice system -- and now the Bruce Pearl "scandal" -- the institution as a whole is lacking in credibility. To top it all off, UT seems incapable of finding a competent president and administration who could do more for the University other than playing politics.

I'm with you OP. A win tomorow night could go a LOOOOONG way. A loss in which we are not competitive could also take this thing close to rock bottom heading into UF week, all the while trying to avoid a 0-6 run.

I hate to be pessimistic but i think this basketball scandal is gonna affect our play tomorrow. I hope im wrong but in the past we just havent done well with distractions.

I've been asking my friends this. I've only kept up with it to this degree. (Daily posting and surfing) last season and this off, so I've chalked it up to my lack of knowledge. I am blown away with the countless "investigations" and "inquiries". They break a new invest story EVERY week. At some point they will begin to cripple themselves no? Do they like money?

Jan 12th ring a bell? If you mean post Pilot. Prep time and reps had as much to do with that as mental distractions. They will be prepared. They know what this game can mean to this state.
