Heard on Big Orange Sunday today.

The LOI will be received and it will cover these 6 areas:

1. Hostessgate.
2. Violations with the 20 hour and 10 hour rule.
3. Video taping of prospects on visits to a prospects high school. This is a violation if the UT coaches do this, but the high school can and then send the schools the tape.
4. Phone calls during dead periods.
5. The Bryce Brown recruitment.
6. Monte Kiffin watching team workouts.

They were also saying that B. Pearl/Basketball is not happy about the NCAA and the LOI.

I see nothing in there that would even come close to finding anything near as bad as "the Reggie Bush Case" at USC...unless some booster ponied up some cash for Bryce Brown.

Hostessgate will be ugly just because of it's nature.

This is a Kiffin-crap hunt./ They want to nail him to the wall and quarter him.

Matthews also alluded to another violation that had something to do with Kiffin and an assistant violating travel restrictions. He would not say more than that, saying he had promised not to discuss it.

That already was reported awhile back ago. They went to that high school in FL.

Also Brown has already been looked into last year. Not sure if much will come from tha.

NCAA really needs to change their consequences for situations like this. It needs to follow the coach to his new school in addition to the former school (UT in this case) getting reprimanded. Same with Calipari/Memphis/Derrick Rose.....Cal should have received something, anything.

The one he couldn't talk about sounds like the deal that involved Rubio.

I've got to admit, the Bryce Brown angle has me the most fired up. If we get so much as a wrist-slap for Kiffin's Marketing Coup de Grace (emphasis on MARKETING), well, hell, I guess I'll be real mad.

Hambone's Experiment! :good!:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if anything comes of this, it will be the University of Tennessee that suffers, not USC, right?

How many if any of these 6 alleged violations occurred on Dooley's watch?

It doesn't matter. If the allegations were found out to be true, the Tennessee program would be the one that bears the punishment, not the former coach. Whether or not NCAA would put some "restrictions" on the former coach would remain to be seen.

I doubt even the combination of all the alleged incidents would constitute a "lack of institutional control", if they were found out to be legit, of course.

I'd think as far as Bryce Brown is concerned it would be tough to justify a harsh punishment for a school in that situation. Kiffin and Bryce are both gone.

I will say that I think whatever comes to light with the BB situation probably had a lot to do with how Dooley handled the BB situation, I think there was MAJOR wrong doing with him and his handler, his dad and others.

Any mention of the White Lexus, girls and a car wreck...

I don't know what to think of this.

On one hand, I feel like we may be in trouble.

On the other hand, I use a little reason and realize that nothing we've done (to my knowledge) has been anywhere near as bad as things schools on major probation have done.

I'm worried, but not too worried, I suppose.

Hamilton's job hangs in the balance. IF something comes of this, all because of Kiffin's BS, then Mike's will be the head that rolls. So he will be fighting for his job on this one. None of the charges are anything "new" so IF Hammy underestimated and did not react according to what the NCAA determines the "facts" to be, then a lack of Institutional Control finding is all on Hamilton, and he will be gone gone gone. So with all that said, I dont think he would risk his future to protect Lame and Company, so therefore I dont expect much to come out of all this.

Doubt it. So far Bryce hasnt shown himself capable of thinking two days in advance, much less two months. Not saying hes not bright, just immature and mishandled by those around him.
