Does anyone else feel the same way I do about NCAA Football 2007? For some reason i'm just not that excited about this year's title. It seems that the past few years the games have had really good new features to offer (i.e. race for the heisman, home field advantage, sports illustrated covers, punishing players for cheating, etc). But this years game seems like it doesnt have that many new things to offer. Mid-term exams????? Are they trying to make this game educational?? And trick plays???? Werent there already trick plays in the playbook last year? Sure there may be more of them, but it still doesnt excite me that much. It seems that EA is simply running out of ideas. Why not go for something that fans of the game actually say they want? A Senior Bowl would be nice. And so would customized entrances for certain teams. One thing that has been bugging me for years is lack of addition in the tackling styles and additional player movements. Havent they had the same boring tackles and catching movements for years other than the very few additions?? It just seems that they should introduce something new. I'm not even sure i'll buy this game immediately when it comes out as I have done for the last few years....

keep in mind i am talking about the ps2 version, not the 360.

i was about to say... lol... but the ps2 version will have a spring game and it allows you to select your impact players. there are also new camera angles when youre tryin to block a field goal or a punt. they added a bunch more minicamp like games in it too. there will be more tackle animations this year. the momentum feature will be really detailed and realistic too, so i think the ps2 version will have a lot more for you to be happy about

i get what you mean, but i think this game will be pretty good... the customized entrances for teams i've been pleading for since i can remember.. the only dang team that has one is notre dame, makes me mad... and they need new commentary... this big man on campus is something i am really excited about... but if this year, or some year, they have a game where they have a really good new idea and inprove commentary, and the overall saturday atmosphere and gameplay.. it will blow every other game out of the water
we'll have to see though
