I have read on the board where 18,19, and 20 were suggested. If you go back and study our games we have played thus far, several teams we have beaten anyone could beat.We need to win a game or two where we are the underdog, and get our wins up to 19,20 to insure us a bid IMO.Thoughts?

I don't think we can have more than 10 losses and get in. I think UT must find a way to win at home against UK and Florida.

I think 20 wins and you are in, particularly if you get past the first round of the SEC tourney.

I'm shocked that we're debating just getting in as opposed to how high our seeding might be.

After getting that 2-seed last season (which even the crazies of Vol fans should admit was too high), all bets are off. Couple more years of this and Tennessee might actually become a basketball school.

Big non-conference wins over Memphis, Texas, and OK State should be plenty to get us in, provided we can bat around .500 in the SEC. With those wins under our belt, I'd say every win over 20 bumps our seed up a couple spots. And, of course, any kind of run in the SEC tourney would be great.

pearl will get us in. This team is about as good as last year's or at least it will be when we get to kentucky and florida. Difference is this team is deeper.
