I think the timing changes really helped our thin defense last year, but I am glad to see that they have gone back to the old clock rules.

Now that you mention it, it is sort of painful to think about what might have happened if that d-line had been forced to play an extra 10 plays per game at the end of the year.

In all honesty, it may have cost us the Kentucky game. It looked like the offense was running out of steam.

One rule change for the season that will cause problems for Tennessee, kicking off from the 30 yd line. Which means more returns. 1. UT can't cover kickoffs and 2. They never get nothing out of their kick returns.

Britton hit a couple of 50+ yard field goals in practice. Kicking off of a tee is supposedly easier than kicking field goals. Colquitt will bang quite a few out of the back of the endzone.

I like that rule. It makes last minute comebacks more likely.

Me too.

If they want to shorten games, then take out one commercial out of the TV timeout. Can't afford to do that?!? Wow! It's really NOT about the student athlete, is it!?!
