Great news!! I guess this means that all television contracts, advertising and merchandising sales will go to the participating schools and the NCAA will have to downsize?

Be interesting how they handle the numbers.....If some come back another year when otherwise they would be gone how does that effect the new recruits coming in and the 85 limit?

What a nightmare for all incoming freshmen who will be buried on the depth chart with 50+ “freshman” in their class.

2020 freshman and 2021 freshman become 2021 freshman. Maybe even 2019 freshman who redshirted in 2019.

The 85 number will have to be adjusted if the plan stays the way it is right now. Several scenarios that could affect that bottom line number I would think. If a school only has 10 seniors and another school has 25 (numbers are made up of course) and 80% of those choose to come back then you've got a train wreck otherwise I THINK.

Coaches have ways to gently tell some Seniors that their time is up. Maybe put a few on medical scollys, possibly find other schools where they are needed, ect. If any player does not get a NFL grade by the time they are seniors, most know their playing days are over. Most will be mature enough to finally realize there is more to life than football.

I think because of that they’d have to institute a blanket waiver for transferring next year as well.

I agree and you could almost here CJP say that when discussing the 85 and eligibility change after the 3rd practice on video.
