What is the obsession with this game and "the swamp"?? It's not the swamp anymore. We've won the last two times we have been there. Also Florida is 8-5 for three consecutive seasons now.

Don't mind the stadium rankings... If a stadium is anywhere in the top 10, it doesn't really matter.

I couldn't wait. Had to go home for lunch and play for a few minutes. Wow. Very nice. To see Corso put the Smokey head on, hearing the band fire up Rocky Top as we burst onto the field, nice graphic work. Seems like the AI for the D-backs is better (tougher) than before, which is good I guess. I also toyed with the "practice" and "passing skeleton" modes, which will help, since I've really only played Madden in the past. I'll load up my rosters tonight (fingers crossed. . . ) and start the season.

The wife is thrilled.

I am still waiting to hear if anyone has played a head to head game and has thoughts on the passing. I gave up about 600 yards passing to Michigan. I could not stop the deep pass, it was absurd. I aslo thought it was pretty easy to pass deep on the computer, but then again I was playing Vanderbilt.

The AI corners suck in this game. Even Kentucky dropped a few long balls on me, when I was playing as the Vols.

I haven't had too much problem with the D's AI while playing the Hypeman mode. I've played 7 games, giving up about 1100 passing yards and 250 rushing... that's about 170 yards passing and 35 yards rushing? I like to put in the Dime package and send K.Simon up the middle on a pass rush, with a zone behind... sometimes they get a decent run to the outside, sometimes the QB gets off a pass and the WR luckily catches it... other times he just throws it up and gets picked off, and others he takes a 10 yd. sack.

Maybe the AI is different in that mode compared to the single game vs. mode?

Maybe. That's what happens to me when I'm playing Varsity, but even when I'm playing All-American, even Kentucky's WR's made UT's D-backs look like prep schoolers.

That's the impression I got from Freaky... I'm going to turn up the difficulty and see how I fare. Thanks Milo.

I played Florida Atlantic on heisman difficulty level last night with the Vols and I only won 24-21

I'm getting bombs dropped on me by every team I play. Maybe it's just that Heisman level is really hard, but I seem to do just enough to win every game...kind of like the Vols in real life

That's why I get closer and closer to passing out every time I watch our games... I'm just sitting, watching, saying to myself "Go ahead... Take a two TD lead. It won't hurt you"

I was at the Ole Miss game last year, and I kept thinking "Are we letting them hang around on purpose?"

I upped it to All-American last night and started a Dynasty, then added #3 Iowa to week 1. I figured that if anyone could bomb it out it would be Tate... well forget that theory! 41-7 UT, 4 sacks and 4 picks for the guys in orange. We DID give up about 170 yds passing tho, I just didn't let the 3 or 4 bombs they completed hurt... the one TD was off a Rick Clausen INT.

Looks like I need to put it on Heisman and retry. It WAS better than Varsity however, thanks Milo.
