Ncaa 14

Hm, on the first page of this thread I said I get all of the games, and I liked them all. After reading through the comments, it's true. EA is lazy. Now will I still buy 14? Probably.

But I did hate the coaching carousel. I won a NC with PItt, thinking I'd get some big time schools to come calling, no... UCLA...NC State...UCF. Didn't make any sense. And they have got to give us at least a 80 man roster.

If they leave everything the same and fix the CC I'd be ecstatic.

Who else has the resources to operate in the red for at least 5-6 years while producing a new addition annually?

If they could get the licensing and focus long-term rather than trying to rush something this cycle or next, I think 2k is the obvious answer to that. If they made it for both platforms, based on The Show, I'm sure SCEA would blow it out of the water.

Stopped buying this after 2011. I just got so sick of incremental changes/improvements year after year and paying 60.00 for it. It's no wonder EA was recently voted as worst game company in the biz.

One thing I cannot stand about the 70, is when I make tough cuts to a pretty talented freshman that I oversigned, or even a talented upperclassmen that is buried on the depth chart.....he disappears into the cyber abyss. They desperately need to institute a 2nd transfer period after cuts. I try not to oversign because of this, but there are also those dumb times the game just signs me a half dozen scholarship players that I never needed anyway. Yet another reason why the FCS should be represented in its entirety as well.

If I'm not mistaken, the Xbox is the reason for the 70 man roster due to sizing limitations (PS3 *could* due to Blu-ray). I completely agree about the rosters - on the next-gen consoles, that is one thing that MUST be addressed.

Garbage game is garbage. Don't buy it and maybe they will put some effort into remaking the series. EA can make good sports games but this one needs lots of work.

EA Canada can make good sports games*

The Florida studio has done nothing but put out hot garbage going on like six years now, and its games that people will buy in droves regardless of how bad they suck, Madden, Tiger Woods, NCAA, etc.

Last year's version of Tiger Woods was actually pretty good, but damn it was tough. They totally overhauled the swing mechanics and added a lot more challenge into a series that had really been the same for about 10 years. When you combine that with the fact that they finally got the Augusta National license a couple years ago, and then this year got the official license for the other 3 majors, the '14 version is actually a pretty solid game.

Even though I have never really been a fan of current Ultimate Team with EA titles, the historic part of what they will be doing with NCAA this year has me interested. Hopefully we will see some Gault, White, along with others being availible in packs.

The only Ultimate that I played and ejoyed was FIFA. There is not a lasting appeal to that mode for me though.

Was thinking about getting Tiger 14 but don't know if it's worth the $60. I had been saying for years it was too easy. Could easily shoot 59 or below....dumb. liked last year how they made it a little harder and more realistic.

I almost bought NCAA 13 so I could unlock Peyton Manning. Then I remembered he got robbed of the Heisman. Then I didn't buy the game.

Will probably only rent or just play with the season pass, but I am curious to see how the IE2 engine will feel with this game.

I have not bought NCAA the past two years and will probably pass again. It sucks becuase I love college football but I am not buying this crap they put out every year. Like you said, I will use my season pass and play it the weekend before it comes out.

Didn't play last years at all. Feel the same as you.
