NCAA 11 Official Tournament Bracket Thread

The only problem in the tournament, so far, has been lack of ability to follow "sim" rules even after they were laid out.

Agreed. Like I said in the other thread, I think we would be better off just letting anything go as long as there's no blatant glitching if we were to ever do one of these again in the future.

I'm not 100% solid on what most consider cheap play on here. Can I get some clarifications to pass the time?
1. Playing the pass? 2. Any Pump Fake? 3. User catch? 4.User pick?

The only things that irk me enough to consider booting or dq'ing somebody are rocket catching or exploiting coverage somehow and scrambling around 1000 yards in the backfield to also break down coverage. There are other gray areas, but those are the ones that bother me the most.

The stuff that is considered cheap varies from game to game, honestly.

Just wanted to be clear. I don't generally play the pass but if my opponent pumps I will on passing situations and hope the first pump doesn't give up a cheap td. I do not pump fake. I do user catch but I won't manipulate coverage by running into the db and knocking him off of me to catch it. Thanks.

I have issues with user catching on streak plays. It creates seperation which wouldn't have happened if the WR was still cpu controlled for whatever reason. It is almost like the WR runs faster when user controlled on flies and it forces the opponent to user control the DB or get burnt.. But it is often too late since they have the head start. I don't mind it on any other routes outside of that one.

Some people don't agree with that though, like volball.

My only issue with that is that some people are so good at user picks that if you just let the cpu attempt to catch the ball, they will pick it every time, no matter how much separation there was. I have had multiple passes to open receivers been picked because I didn't want to user catch and be accused of rocket catch.

I think user catches are legit but when your QB throws a bullet to the one spot the coverage isn't, and the WR stops, turns around to face the QB and leaps 36" into the air... that's a little cheap

My reasoning for disagreeing with you is that it basically makes throwing deep pointless because the receiver shows no aggression. You are right that they run faster when you control them because otherwise, the receiver will just jog.
