NCAA 11 Official Tournament Bracket Thread

You are a garbage cheese exploit type of player. If you think that makes you any better than IP, then you need to just stick to playing cheesers of your own kind.

He's a much better arcade player than I would ever care to be. This was a simulation tournament, though.

No I play with Texas dude. You probably wouldn't beat me either. All this stuff you all call illegal is crazy. I disguise some of my blitzes and coverages. I wasn't even getting sacks from blitzes.

You just have your self away with that one.

So explain all the rushing yards then. Is that cheesing? I could've of won ramming it down his throat.

not blitzing and toggling show blitz on and off isn't disguising your blitzes. Just **** - the cheese evidence is stacked against you and there's no way you're advancing now - you obviously have NEVER attempted to play sim football and its obvious by your explanations and reasoning as well as your constant bragging about your online success

My formal complaint:

1. We had to start 3 times. Twice, there was a mysterious disconnect. Once when we were tied at 7 and I was driving into his side of the field. And the first time I was up 14-7. Yet the third time when he gets a lucky pick right off, perfect connection...

2. He toggled show blitz off and on before each snap. Now, some of you may not realize what this does. If your defender(s) are already moving at the snap of the ball, they immediately are running at full speed regardless of the momentum feature. In other words, it makes nearly perfect coverage and makes the defenders behave like homing missiles. I can't show this in a video because it is pre-snap, but I doubt he has the balls to deny it. This was the biggest influence on the game.

3. He rocket catches. On multiple occasions, he would toss a hail mary type pass to a covered receiver, then user the receiver and sprint underneath it. This is not simulation football. Unfortunately, the only good video from the last game doesn't stick on the receiver. I uploaded it, and you can see that the receiver suddenly gets separation after the ball is thrown. This is because he got the NCAA equivalent of a push-off, by switching to the receiver, bumping the CB and sprinting hard under the ball.

4. He went for it on 4th and 1 on his 40 while up 21 in the first half, with 20 seconds left to go in the half. That's blantant non-sim football. If he didn't get it, I would have been at the door of field goal range.

5. Similarly, he was passing to run up the score if possible late in the 4th. Whatever, it doesn't hurt my feelings but that isn't sim football.

6. He ran counter out of I-form about 20 times. That's ridiculous.

7. He pump fakes EVERY passing play. That isn't sim. This is EVERY pass play: NCAA Football 11 Video | EA SPORTS

My beef is that this was to be a simulation-style tournament. This is not a simulation-style player, and it isn't even close.

Furthermore, was he not kicked for cheesing in a VN dynasty before? I swear I have tasted this variety of cheddar before.

1. Sketchy
2. Terrible. I have been on the receiving side of this and it really can be a offense killer. It makes Nick Reveiz read and react like Brandon Spikes.
3. Hard to tell from the video. Doesn't look like Rocket Catch to me. Just a user catch. I don't mind that.
4. Cheese. A stop and quick slant and you are in FG range. No coach would ever call that.
5. Running up the score is stupid.
6.Eh... Hard to call cheese. Some coaches rely heavily on misdirection runs. I wouldn't call that many but...
7. Every play = cheese. I will pump sometimes, especially if I have been hitting the slot man in the out, I'll pump his way hoping to get the safety to bite. Hard to tell from video, but every play is cheese.

Just my opinion.

Ask any legitimate player out there that play in tournaments and the long running web leagues and they will tell you that you are full of ****. Volball would beat you, I have no doubt, he is capable of cheesing with the best of them.
