NCAA 11 Official Tournament Bracket Thread

His connection was the problem. It went out the first game before we even did the coin toss. He fixed and the only problem you guys are having is Scribbley got upset by a better player. I ran the ball the way UT used to back in the 90s.

I lol'd

Who really cares. Its strategy and it works. Leave the man alone

Rocket catching is not strategy. There's a reason developers have battled to erase it from their games. Shows blitz is not a strategy. Sorry, it's just not. And pump faking every play is not strategy. WHen is the last time you see teams pump fake every play. Maybe on certain plays but I guarantee he was just doing it randomly with no true purpose.

Whatever you want to tell yourself.

You would have beat Scribbley dude. They wanted him to win and he got upset. All this rocket catch stuff is crazy. If you give up right at 200 yards rushing you'll lose 90% of your games.

why would I want IP to win? He's beat me 4 out of 6 times in NCAA 11 and he's a better player than you. But he doesn't cheese to win.

Anxiously awaiting video. Don't bother trying to get in a legit dynasty on here. It'll never happen.

Scribbley is just having to save the videos. Upload them to easportsworld. Then link them and explain himself. This takes a while.

My formal complaint:

1. We had to start 3 times. Twice, there was a mysterious disconnect. Once when we were tied at 7 and I was driving into his side of the field. And the first time I was up 14-7. Yet the third time when he gets a lucky pick right off, perfect connection...

2. He toggled show blitz off and on before each snap. Now, some of you may not realize what this does. If your defender(s) are already moving at the snap of the ball, they immediately are running at full speed regardless of the momentum feature. In other words, it makes nearly perfect coverage and makes the defenders behave like homing missiles. I can't show this in a video because it is pre-snap, but I doubt he has the balls to deny it. This was the biggest influence on the game.

3. He rocket catches. On multiple occasions, he would toss a hail mary type pass to a covered receiver, then user the receiver and sprint underneath it. This is not simulation football. Unfortunately, the only good video from the last game doesn't stick on the receiver. I uploaded it, and you can see that the receiver suddenly gets separation after the ball is thrown. This is because he got the NCAA equivalent of a push-off, by switching to the receiver, bumping the CB and sprinting hard under the ball.

4. He went for it on 4th and 1 on his 40 while up 21 in the first half, with 20 seconds left to go in the half. That's blantant non-sim football. If he didn't get it, I would have been at the door of field goal range.

Similarly, he was passing to run up the score if possible late in the 4th. Whatever, it doesn't hurt my feelings but that isn't sim football.

He ran counter out of I-form about 20 times. That's ridiculous.

He pump fakes EVERY passing play. That isn't sim. This is EVERY pass play: NCAA Football 11 Video | EA SPORTS

My beef is that this was to be a simulation-style tournament. This is not a simulation-style player, and it isn't even close.

Furthermore, was he not kicked for cheesing in a VN dynasty before? I swear I have tasted this variety of cheddar before.

The plays I called were open. The matchups I exploited were open. What about him scoring 14 points? I user picked him first play from scrimmage. His second series, I smashed his QB and picked him again. Next series, was a punt. Next Series, another punt. I was up 28 nothing. He scored the next series. I kicked a field goal right before half time. Second half I somehow stopped scoring. The other guy I played picked some of my passes off. It was a good game. You guys are whining over a blowout that happened due to his turnovers.

You were toggling show blitz/press presnap back and forth, which makes defenders accelerate to full speed right at snap. This is what led you to always being a shadow on receivers when you did this.

Look, you're a great Xbox Live player I'm sure. This is a simulation tournament. For sim-style playing. You play arcade.
