XBLive is well worth $50 a year, but they do offer free MS points sometimes when you renew.

The same would go for PS exclusives, but the Xbox is GREAT!! I have absolutely no desire to buy a PS3. The Xbox is everything a gaming system needs to be at a cheaper price.

What? If I'm a guy into video games, I'm willing to sink hundreds into a PS3 because of the numerous great exclusive titles and unlike all of YOU, I recognize true greatness. :)

I've always been a playstation guy untill I purchased a Xbox 360 at Christmas. The 360 is great and it is THE console for FPS. Although I love the 360, I'm going to get NCAA 2008 on the PS2. I rented '07 for the Xbox and hated it.

I think I'll eventually get a PS3, Metal Gear Solid is my alltime favorite series and I have to play it.

the xbox version of ncaa 07 sucked. You should rent 08 for the 360 before you buy it for ps2. The 360 version will be way better this year.

This is basically my standpoint on the "which system is better" argument. If I were a big FPS guy (which I'm not), and most people are, then it would be 360 all the way. All PS consoles back to the first one put together only have a handful of FPS titles that could compete with the FPS greats XBox seems to come out with on a bimonthly basis.

Kinda funny to hear people coming around on this one. I'd been saying since 07 came out that the 360 version was a crappy stripped-down version with a poorer feel than its previous-gen counterparts.

But nooooo, the crazy Playstation guy doesn't know what he's talking about.

grand turismo isn't any good
I have both... For all the supposed knocks on the GT series (is no damage a real complaint?), it has a far better feel to me than Forza. As long as GT is around, you will know where to find the best physics engine in all of console video gaming.

They rushed on a lot of games last year, but they are already showing GREAT improvement this year. MLB 2K6 was awful on the 360 last year, but MLB 2K7 is great. I think we will see the same from EA on Madden & NCAA.

The first version of each yearly sports game for each new gen console is usually terrible. Not that I trust EA Sports that much, but it's probably okay by now to start buying their games on the 360. You can say the same thing about the PS3 by spring of next year. It's just standard transition time.
